very groovy cast page dani i suspect you meant alcohol 'yields' disturbing results, unless your talking about a personified alcohol bottle that possesses a disturbingly bad academic report as its weapon to defeat G-d knows what army...which really makes NO sense when you think about it. unless of course it was...INSANO WORLD!!! sorry bout being a complete bastardhead but i have this sickness and it cant be helped. i honestly do love the cast page though ;D!!! who's phoebe?

Ummm... The 'grrrl power' slant still doesnt sit too well with me... Lately some stuff (other than the girls just sitting around being empowered) has started to happen which is definately a good thing. More male characters who arent typecast 'bastards' or typecast 'nice guys' please!
Honestly though, my favourite comic thus far is possibly the personal one about your 18th birthday (happy 18th birthday by the way). I think the fetus picture is pure gold.
I also quite like your whimsical postscripts to each comic. This time of the year always makes me nostalgic too... You just have to try and look back at school objectively and remember how shit it actually was.
Oh yeah - final comment! Watch out for spelling mistakes! They are my personal pet peeve!
Other than that - since you are 18 now why dont you come to see radarmaker at the kitchen this friday night?

thanks for the feedback. it seems not many people seem to like the whole girl-rock thing. i tried not to make it too 'riot grrrrl' or anything like that. there's some good male characters coming into it soon, but you've gotta give me time! it's hard to develop rounder characters when it's just started. oh yeah, the fetus. hehe...that was begging to be drawn. shyguy- phoebe is coming into it soon. if this 'zine thing actually gets done, she's going to be the ghost-writer of sorts. still developing on it though...we might have an interview with a prominent local band in the bag...soon..maybe.. yeah, the kitchen sounds good. what sort of tunes do radarmaker play?

I like your comic Dani, I don't think alot of people give female vocalists let alone girl bands a fair go. Sure alot of them are really shit, however, this doesn't necessarily mean all female vocalists/bands will always suck. I tried drawing a comic the other day, gave up after 5 mins, I keep adding too much detail and ruining them, so now I have a greater respect for your comic along with many others. On the other hand a guy in my HSC art class is nominated for a touring art exhibition (art express) which is the equivilent to "practice" or whatever you have over in WA.
